She's STEM Rising is a nationally-focused initiative dedicated to closing the gender gap in STEM — through mentoring, scholarships, hands-on workshops, and a community that tells girls the truth: this field was built for you too.
The Problem
Women make up less than 28% of the STEM workforce. In AI and machine learning specifically, that number drops below 22%. And the pipeline starts leaking early — by middle school, most girls have already been told — explicitly or implicitly — that these fields aren't for them.
She's STEM Rising exists because the team at aiApas has seen both sides of that story — the barriers and the breakthroughs — and believes the most powerful thing we can do is make sure the next generation of girls never has to fight as hard to be seen.
This isn't charity. It's infrastructure for the future.

She's STEM Rising is being built intentionally — starting local, proving the model, then scaling nationally.
Launch She's STEM Rising in Dallas — establish the first STEM Spark workshops, recruit founding mentor cohort, and build the scholarship fund. Focus on 3-5 local school districts partner schools and the local tech community.
Expand to Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Launch Code & Lead program. Establish the first Rising Scholars scholarship awards. Build the board of directors and secure 501(c)(3) status.
Launch AI for Her as a national online program. Establish corporate partnership program. Build the Mentor Circle network nationally. First annual She's STEM Rising summit.
University partnerships, endowed scholarships, policy advocacy, and a self-sustaining organization that outlasts any one leader. The mission becomes the institution.
